1976 yılında İstanbul da doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise eğitimi tamamladıktan sonra yakın bir arkadaşı vasıtasıyla gitarla tanıştı, bu süreç sonrasında hayatında müziğin çok önemli bir yerinin olduğunu fark etti. Ve ciddi bir müzik eğitimi almaya karar verdi. Okullarla ilgili araştırma yaparken İstanbul Türk musikisi devlet konservatuarı ve özellikle çalgı yapım bölümü inanılmaz ilgisini çekti. 1996 yılında girdiği çalgı yapım bölümü yetenek sınavında birinci olup bölümde öğrenci olmaya hak kazandı. Öğrenim süresi boyunca bölümün değerli hocaları Cafer Açın, Turhan Demireli ve diğer değerli hocalarımızdan derin bilgi ve eğitim aldı. Ayrıca bu zaman içersinde okul dışında da ses akustiği ve enstrüman yapımını kolaylaştıracak alet ve aparatlar konusunda çok yoğun çalışmaları oldu. Ve nihayetinde 2001 yılında bölüm ikincisi olarak okuldan mezun oldu. 2008 yılında kendi atölyesini açmaya karar verdi, atölyesini açtıktan sonra belirli bir süre değerli yapımcı arkadaşlar, hocalar ve değerli ustalar la vakit geçirerek yoğun bir gözlem çalışması dönemi geçirdi. Ve nihayetin de atölye çalışmalarına başladı. Bir luthier olarak amacım her zaman en iyi enstrümanı yaparken, işçikten taviz vermeden ve her zaman en iyi sesi oluşturmak ana gayemdir. Standart enstrüman yapımının yanında bilimsel gelişim sağlayabilecek çalışmalar yapmak da her zaman bana çok büyük keyif ve heyecan vermektedir.
Ud Türk Musikisi için çok önemli bir enstrümandır. Bu enstrümanla ilgili genel bir kanaat vardır ki oda; en iyi ud yapımcıları belli bir yaşın üzerinde olanlardır. Fakat İbrahim Ada bu genel kanaati yıkarak çok genç bir yaşta kendini ispatlayıp , Udlarını Türkiye’de ki en iyi ud üstatlarına tanıtmayı ve beğendirmeyi başarmıştır. Bu gün birçok kişi tarafından tanınan, bir çok ud üstadıyla çalışmaktadır. Evvelden beri iyi ud yapımcıları yanlarına yeni bir kişi yetiştirmekten kaçınmıştır bu sebeple günümüzde bu işi çıraklıktan öğrenen( alaylı) çok az kişi bulunmaktadır. Şu anda sadece konservatuar ud yapım bölümündeki sayılı öğrenciler bu işin eğitimini almaktadır fakat birçoğu da bu işi devam ettirmemektedir.

Our main goal was to bring the world famous artists together with you in this city, which has embraced various cultures. While we do that, we did not confine ourselves to concerts only and organized lessons where students from Turkey and abroad can meet with such valuable masters and enhance their experiences and skills. We are very happy that we were shown a great interest last year both in Turkey and abroad. We extend our thanks to all artists, participants and sponsors who attended our festival. The name of the family Julia has been synonymous with Spanish guitars for the last four decades. Jaime Julia Abad has lead the Manufacturas Alhambra S.L. Guitar Company since 1973 until May 2009. When he joined the Company originally it was the worst guitar company in the whole of Spain with very bad financial problems and producing very poor quality guitars. Over 36 years of very hard work and total dedication he managed to convert Alhambra into Europe’s leading classical guitar manufacturer. In the last year of his management the Company realized its best financial resultsever both in invoices raised, sales and profit. However, personal disagreements with other Board Members precipitated his dismissal and other family members who also worked in the factory. Luis Julia was Alhambra’s engineer from 2004 – 2009 and, apart from directing and controlling the production process, he designed all the new models of guitars launched by the Company since 2002, such as ‘Crossover’ series, the professional line, the 8Fp, 4F, Requintos CW, Antifeedback etc, He also collaborated with the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Valencia Technical University) and the Universidade do Porto (Porto University of Portugal) in investigative projects Which resulted in improvements in a series of guitar models. He was also the driving force and computer programmer behind the introduction of numerical control machines. Lucas Julia and Juan Julia also amassed great experience apart from being luthiers taking over quality control of the Alhambra guitars.
